According to a Neilson study, 13% of adults in the Seattle/Tacoma area have used the Internet or contributed to a blog the past 30 days. Seattle ranks fourth on the list of top U.S. cities that surf/blog, behind Austin, Portland and San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose. Seattle also ranks 7th on the top 10 list for text messaging on cell phones. (Apparently texting in Texas is all the rage since Houston and Austin are the top two). We'll see how Seattle's standing fares when our no-texting-while-driving rule goes into effect this year. (Via Metroblogging Seattle)
