America's oddest pet hobby has arrived in Seattle. This weekend, our city is hosting a dog-dancing competition, titled "It's Raining Dogs … Hallelujah!" You can watch a clip from today's competition - which includes sequins, little poodles and tricks - here. The contest includes more than 140 dogs and their owners dancing the mambo, cha cha, waltz, and hip hop for prizes (You might remember a "King of the Hill" episode based on this). This weekend's event is hosted by the World Canine Freestyle Organization, which says the object of "canine musical freestyle" is: "to display the dog and handler in a creative, innovative and original dance, using music and intricate movements to showcase teamwork, artistry, costuming, athleticism and style in interpreting the theme of the music."
