Secret meeting held at Elliot Bay Books

Frank Warren, founder of the popular Post Secrets blog, spoke at Elliot Bay last night. He even shared his own deep, dark secret. But the event was so intimate that I don't feel comfortable telling what it was. Warren was there to promote his new book, "A Lifetime of Secrets," which serves as a compilation of the artsy postcards people anonymously send him each week. The cards are scribed with secrets, and he posts new ones online each Sunday. Frank talked about the dark themes he sees in the secrets submitted - like suicide and eating disorders. And said if we all knew that just about everyone around us is carrying a secret that would "break your heart," then there would be more peace and understanding in the world. But the most common secret he receives each week? It's – "I pee in the shower."
