Man bit by decapitated rattlesnake head

Danny Anderson of Prosser needed medical attention after the decapitated head of a rattlesnake bit him. Anderson said he and his son spotted the five-foot snake on their property Monday night. They pinned it and cut off its head with a shovel. When Anderson reached down to pick it up, he says the snake head twisted around and bit his index finger. Anderson had to get shots for the wound, but should be fine.
