It turns out that around 50 folks showed up to Gas Works Park Sunday for the Cardboard Tube Fighting League battle, including my roommates, who snapped some photos. Winner Angela Solerno (pictured below) shared her dueling tactic with Citizen Rain: "I noticed that the tubes broke if your grip was too tight. I also noticed they tend to break with the strike. So I played defense."
