All-you-can-eat sushi showdown

Some guy named Steve went to eat at Mikado, an all-you-can-eat sushi place in the ID, when he said he was scolded for eating too much sushi. How much? "Between 35 and 40 pieces." So he called Seattle Times restaurant critic Nancy Leson to complain, and she went to Mikado to try to duplicate the experience. But she could only put down 13 pieces. (How embarrassing, Nancy.) Anyway, the Mikado staff was nice to Nancy, but she did notice signs on the wall explaining that there's a 25-cent surcharge for every rice ball left uneaten. Tacky.
