Do the right thing

6:46 PM Mon, Apr 28, 2008 |

This story is really about doing the right thing.
Here's the background: A number of customers took their pianos to Kent's Second Hand Pianos (SHP) for consignment. In other words, a customer gives the pianos to SHP, then SHP refurbishes the piano, sells it and gives the customer the proceeds minus fees.
But SHP has gone out of business.

When an eBay deal goes bad

7:20 PM Wed, Apr 23, 2008 |

This stuff is just incredible. It really, really is.

New product leaves customers steamed

5:00 PM Wed, Apr 09, 2008 |

We've all seen those products that make big promises and just don't deliver. The jury is still out on if the Tobi Steamer works well. But returning one has been a serious problem for some folks.
Last night, we told the story of Cheryl Rice from Kenmore. She bought one Tobi Steamer and got two. She was then charged $200.
Cheryl sent the steamers back the next day - well within the 60-day "money back" guarantee time frame.
But...
