The view from the "Rivercat" ferry. A blustery, chilly day on the water in Sydney Harbor. We're ferrying up the Paramatta River to Olympic Park to pick up World Masters Games credentials and commemorative tote-bag with swag. Didn't realize we would need our Arctic (or Antarctic) survival gear for Sydney in spring. .sydneyharbor.jpg Mighty brisk last night, 400 mile an hour winds and some wild and crazy wave action in the harbor at Manly Beach where we're staying. Whitecaps galore and huge breakers crashing on the headlands. We're ready for some sun and sand! All this weather could make the Surf Lifesaving competition interesting this weekend. We'll stroll down and check it out tomorrow.

Allen Schauffler is in Australia for the World Masters Games. Click here to read more. Click here for photos.
