The Director of Opera Australia did the same. The Prince of Denmark was in attendance. And me in my sof-spikes. Yes, your suave, smooth, international traveler is wearing slacks, a nice sweater and his golf shoes. Bet I'm the only one in the house. It was a logistical mix-up that involved a speedy cab ride direct from the 19th hole, the hurried transfer of my golf -bag to new Aussie friend and intrepid chauffeur Tony Reynolds' car, plans for an early morning rendezvous tomorrow and considerable time-pressure brought on by an immutable 7:30 p.m. curtain time. I remembered my wallet, phone, World Masters Games Credentials, passport, change of clothes and made it to the Opera House just in time - and wearing golf shoes. Oh well. Hope the Prince didn't mind.
