SEATTLE -- The National Weather Service forecasts above-normal temperatures through the weekend in Western Washington, with highs mostly in the 80s. But that probably will feel cooler to many residents after record highs the past couple of days. Forecasters say marine air pushing in from the coast will gradually cool things off even more next week. The National Weather Service says Eastern Washington will remain hot through the weekend with high temperatures in places over 100. A heat advisory is in effect until Sunday night for areas including Ellensburg, Yakima, the Tri-Cities and Walla Walla. Forecasters say there's a chance of thunderstorms in the mountains. 1 Comments |
