From tanning salons to adult stores, could a prolific robber be branching out?
A rash of armed robberies has police from six agencies scrambling to catch a suspect or perhaps a gang of robbers.
At last count, they could be dealing with 22 armed robberies in King and Snohomish counties, and they seem to be happening in rapid succession.
Everett Police are asking for help to identify this suspect who may be wanted in three robberies in the past week.
Everett Police Detectives believe the man in the sketch robbed a tanning salon in the 900 block of SE Everett Mall Way on July 23. According to the store employee a young man came into the salon acting as though was a new customer, asking questions about the business. The man then pulled out a handgun and told the victim to give him all the money.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was described as having a pale round face that was clean shaven. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue hoody and a dark green beanie cap. It's possible he fled in a dark-colored, newer vehicle, possibly a BMW.
The same man is believed to be involved in two other robberies, both happening Thursday, July 30.
In the first one, a man entered a Lovers Package store at about 1:15 p.m., showed a handgun and grabbed money from a cash register before running off. The suspect description: a white male 20 - 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, with brown hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a baseball cap with a letter on the front, possibly a "W", a black sleeveless t-shirt with a "Punisher" emblem on the front, and jean shorts. He also had tattoos on his right and left shoulder and on his right forearm.

And shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, the man walked into the Love Zone in the 5700 block of Evergreen Way, drew a handgun described as being similar to what law enforcement carries, and demanded the money from the cash register before fleeing. The suspect in this incident is described as a white male in his 20's, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and around 200 pounds. He was wearing a black and white long sleeve zip up hoody with red scatter boxes in a pattern, jeans and black tennis shoes.
Another one happened Thursday night at a Tan Line tanning salon, and the latest was today at the Teriyaki Town on Bickford Ave.
Last night, KING 5 showed viewers another sketch in our report on a prolific tanning salon robber who may have racked up at least 17 robberies, including one in Marysville, and another near Snohomish.
Police admit there are some subtle differences in descriptions and they are trying to figure out if they all could be the same man or if a group of robbers might be working together.
Snohomish Police say they're working with at least six other departments - Marysville, Snohomish County Sheriff, Everett, Kirkland, Bellevue and Issaquah.
