Patrick and Lisa McCarthy have suffered the worst loss for two parents. Their 16 year old daughter is dead from an ecstasy overdose. But her case could help other families who face the same loss and prevent kids from making the same mistake. 4 Comments |
I think this absolutely insane.. Here we have 2 parents that lost their ONLY child, and they are letting her killer run free. Dona wasn't a child when she took the ectasy pills, and gave them away, but when it comes to prosecuting her, she is considered a juvenile???? Our justice system sucks, and I believe Dona should have a stiffer sentence. I do not believe she will learn her lesson after just a few days, or even weeks in juvenile. She should feel the suffering just like the McCarthys did and still do, the only thing they have left is memories, pictures, items that don't add up to having your child gone FOREVER!!!!!!
King5 wont let me post cuz i tell the truth. . .apparently. . . my post had no profanities.
I'm sick of everyone making this ALL out to be dona's fault. she did not force the pills down danielle's throat, or kill her. the overdose by danielle, taking 2 ecstasy pills in a span of a couple hours is what killed her. i have known dona for 5 years and know that she is no killer. she was among the most popular, sweet girls at my high school before i graduated. she feels horrible for what happened. although what happened is a terrible tragedy, do not look for a scapegoat in dona. the pills killed danielle. her friend didn't.
ok.. I didnt know either Dona or Danielle but I knew people who did. People just talk smack because they either dont like Dona or Danielle. But that should not matter, We have two parents without a daughter anymore. If it was not for Dona Danielle would still be here, yes Dona did not SHOVE the pills down her throat, but Dona gave them to Danielle. If it was not for Dona Danielle would have never taken those pills. And now two parents have to suffer everyday from the loss of their daughter and the fact that Dona is being let go. She should face Life regardless she was 18 years old when this crime happened she is an adult and should be treated like one. This system is so messed up, i dont know Dona but personally i dont care for her, because she did not go to Danielle's aid, it doesnt matter if she didnt know what to do or how to take care of the situation but there is a number such as 911 she knows her numbers she can dial on a phone. That was a messed up, and a sick thing of her to do. She may feel bad but friends come and go family never does, she will find other friends but Danielle's parents will never have there daugher back thanks to Dona.
