So what do you do when it snows like crazy in Beijing and a lot of your video shooting plans get wiped out? Take a break of course, shoot what you can and relax and enjoy the setting and the people and accept the fact that the sky isn't blue and the video you're going home with is the video you have.

And, you do goofy tourist stuff too. At least photographer Ken Jones and I do. Buy dorky knockoff Army hats, take really flattering arm's length self-portraits which emphasize our youth, vigor and that neither of us is tinting these days, pose with our interpreter and local problem solver Ms. Xiao, all under the watchful eye of the Chinese Army and of course The Chairman.
Visit the local tea shop, sip the samples, take a pedicab ride through the old 'Hutong' neighborhoods and visit the local urban planning vender where they have the best walk-through map in the world. Be still, my beating heart..
The second to last shot in our slide show is for our Operations Manager Greg Thies. Greg, that the stadium on the right and the green pointer-dot shows you our Olympic live location.
