A series of large explosions sent a shower of flaming debris onto freeways and buildings near downtown Wednesday morning. There were no immediate reports of injuries. Buildings in a half-mile area surrounding the tanks were being evacuated. Numerous small fires could be seen burning in the area as stacks of gas cylinders continued to catch fire and explode. Dallas police Sgt. Gil Cerda said part of Interstate 35 was shut down.

While on the surface it might appear to some to be a teen prank, it's arguably much more.
In Bellingham the last couple weeks, there have been two crows and two squirrels killed and left on display for neighbors to see. This is not a case of "kids being kids." Consider the people who have admitted their fasicination with death, began with animals and later turned to humans: Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, David Berkowitz and Albert DeSalvo ar...

Sad news overnight here in Tacoma. Zina Linnik's body has been found, and police are not saying much.
We know, as evidenced by your viewer blog postings, you care about this story.
It's a story which tugs at every parent's heartstrings. This little girl was just playing outside her home, when some maniac came through the alley and took her. I think a lot of people can sympathize with the Linnik family.
