I ended a trip to India at Sea Tac recently. India had outbreaks of two potentially deadly mosquito borne diseases: malaria and dengue fever. And I wondered as I looked at the hundreds of other tourists waiting at baggage claim, what we travelers could have brought home besides the usual souvenirs. Suddenly I got a different perspective on global health. I'm curious, what do you think of when you hear the term global health?
