I guess my concern stems from the lack of concern it took that allowed this person to come in contact with the general public with her bogus professional abilites and her non existent credentials. This is absolutely not acceptable and she is frauding her way through the lives and finances of our populations of the most vulunerable. This can not go on!

I read this story and can't help but think this is the tip of the iceberg, that there are many more "Dr. Greff's" and many more "Family Resources" and the media is finally beginning to pay attention.

One fact that jumped out at me was that there have been 11 complaints on Greff since 1989. When you do a search on the Health Dept Credential Look Up, it says under "Action Taken: NO". While the Health Dept, has made changes and now investigates all complaints, it will not publish all complaints.

The net result is that no one can see the history of complaints against a health care practitioner, such as Dr. Greff. Even today, if one simply goes to the web-site they will have no idea that there are any complaints, or that any complaints are being looked at/investigated.

As health care consumers, especially in the mental health areana with vulnerable indviduals, there needs to be a higher degree of openness on the part of the state to create true integrity and weed out the unethical practitioners and facilities.

I had worked at family recourses for almonst 2 years and I quit because of all the things that were going on there. I am glad that this is finally coming to a halt, it's about time that others see what I was seeing there.

'DR'. GREFF ALSO HAD A PROGRAM FOR THE HOMELSS CALLED 'PAYDIRT' WE GOT APTS BUT SHE MANIPULATED US TO GET MONEY FROM AGENCIES AND CHURCHES ABOVE AND BEYOND THE ACTUAL COST.WE WERE FORCED TO COMMIT ACTS OF'ADVOCACY'. I worked at family resources for a few months before I was fired for un-known reasons. What I saw there I didn’t expect. When I First went in for my interview I was shocked to find out that this type of facility was being operated in an apartment complex. When I first met "Dr." Greff I could tell by her appearance that she was not a real doctor. While I worked there I never once saw a business license. When I would see her talking to the clients she would use fowl language. In our weekly staff meetings she would mock and make fun of them. I worked alone and on several occasions when I needed to call her about an important issue with a client she would ignore my calls. She thinks that she is helping the people but is only making there conditions worse!! I Remember one day I was with a new employee when Greff called me and demanded that I drive a client to the bank to sign a check so she can deposit it before the bank closed. It was then I realized that she was having the clients checks mailed to her home and was cashing and depositing them herself.

I am a former tenant in Florence Greffs pay dirt program? for the homeless. I can't begin to tell you all the wrongs that she did in my time renting an apt. from her but will let you know that she did ALOT of people,organizations and businesses wrong in that time.We used to have weekly pay dirt meetings on weds. evenings and I have sooo many of those agendas still from each meeting and it is incredible the things she had us roped into..People towards the end of my stay weren't allowed to establish residency so she would get all their mail in her office and I know some people that lost food stamps, etc..due to her not giving them their mail on time so they would miss appts..etc...People would pay her the electric bills and then get turned off for non payment because she didn't send it in to SCL...Changing locks on peoples apts. while they were out because they were late on their rent or refused to do what she asked..The Shoreline police dept. has these complaints on file I know.They came out and told her son Pete that if he changed someones locks again he could be arrested...Charging full $500.00 deposits and never giving any back...Involving churches for donations in all her business, and on and on.One thing that really sticks in my mind when I first met her was I called her Florence and she said that is never allowed you are to address me as Dr.Greff always and only as...

I am wondering what is happening with her daughter Francine who has worked right beside Greff the whole way in the office? She knew everything that went on and was also wrong in her doings..Who there has a license to distribute the meds and what about her other son Lee? He was the one that brought all the meds to them at the office and did all the UA's she ordered? Please tell me there will be more to the investigation and we will be updated on the progress.I hope they shut them down so they cam't manipulate or harm anyone anymore...

I was court ordered to Family Resources in 1993, known then as “The Family Living Center”. Because of her lies and the “Dr.” in front of her name, she was able to convince most Lawyers & courts that she was a Psychiatrist in order to get more “clients” & money. I attempted many time to report the abuse to the state but the only response I got was from DSHS asking if Greff had stolen or misused my Food Stamps. They did not care whether or not anyone was being abused. Greff would decide on her own if someone needed medication and what kind. She had a couple of Psychiatrists that she worked with and was able to convince them of her own diagnosis. Greff decided at one point that I needed different medication and started forcing me to take other peoples medication. I was also one of the “higher functioning clients” and was forced to attend Rotary & church functions to show how much she has accomplished in the community. If there is anything I can do to get the woman put away please let me know. I still have nightmares.

As a former employee of What you call a doctor,
My two years experience with her I saw alot of things go wrong, but no one would listen or they would tell me that she was doing everything by the book!! Not only did she mistreat her clients she was also running a program called Pay Dirt (a place for homeless people to rest there head) she would rent an apartment and then chharge people astonishing rent prices!! Anyway the clients are very mistreated, they can't even open there own mail, there told how to spend there money and ther also called whor's and prostitutes and pimps,,This program needs to shut down and I can finely sleep ar night knowing that someone is out there trying to close this place down!! I know that I have personally talked to Shoreline police and King County Sheriff's office about this So called doctor, but like I said before some how she is getting away with this because she is doing it by the book according to the authorities!! Att his time I pray for the clients and hope the state or the goverment or someone can finally SHUT DOWN THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR!!!

First of all let me say thankyou to the one person who had enough courage to look in to this because this is a very "SCARY" situation.I first met "DR.GREFF" and "FRANCENE MEYERS" in the "PAYDIRT" program as a homeless couple comming off the street to find affordable housing,she would help you as much as possable if you call "HELPING" learning how to scam the system,the system as in "churches,D.S.H.S" and other charitable Causes.AS I grew in "PAYDIRT" and stayed there longer she asked me numbers of times to breaak the law for her wich I "REFUSED" i.e.(calling charities for rent money after my rent was already payed for that month),(changing locks on doors when tennant was not at home and entering apartments with out notice)thankfully this program has stopped abusing and taking advantage of the homeless and people that are challanged in their time of need because I have personally seen her take someones rent money for that month and kick them out and keep their money.

As far as the employment goes by reading others responses you get the idea from my former Co-workers what kind of hell these people had to go through in the "FAMILY RESOURCES" program.I've always thought about getting in to a feild of helping people but after working with "FLORENCE GREFF" and seeing the abuse of the clients thats not the feild i want to pursue.

Being a former "client" at Family Resources I empathize with all the clients and their families. While I was there my father passed away. I was given "permission" to go to his funeral. A staff member drove me to the gravesite where I met my family and my grieving mother. I was told that "as soon as it is over you WILL return to Family Resources". I wanted to go to my sister's house for dinner and be with my family, especially my mom. I was denied this! I had also sold my house when I was there. Greff found out how much I had gotten because she opened all of my mail. At the time I was also seeing her son, Lee Jamison, a drug and alcohol "counselor" who runs The Living Center close to Family Resources. He also found out about the sale of my house. In September 2005 he asked me if he could "borrow" $5,000.00 from what he called my "nestegg". I agreed and WE BOTH signed a contract that he would pay me back $1,000.00 per month for the next 5 months with interest! I received a check for $1,000.00 in May of 2006 and haven't seen a penny since. Greff still owes me my $500.00 damage deposit and half-months rent for March of 2005. Which was quoted to me to be "prorated". Totaling over $700.00. Since these two irresposible individuals have ignored numerous calls from me I have turned these cases over to the Washington State Department of Health. These two are currently being investigated. The people I really feel sorry for are the ones that are still under her control. These two individuals should not be in the health care industry. Neither has a legal license or documentation! They are just using the system and taking advantage of people who need "real" help. My heart goes out to the clients, friends and families of misrepresented facilities. My hope is that Justice Will Be Served!
