Bartell Drugs introduces a new way to get health care--right in the store. Are you game?
It's part of a national trend--health care clinics popping up in drug and discount stores. Instead of making an appointment with your doctor, why not just walk-in and get quick treatment--everything from swimmer's itch to strep throat to ear infections? At four Bartell Drug stores, there's now a "Minute Clinic" staffed by nurse practitioners who are allowed to issue prescriptions. And there's a menu (with prices) with the common ailments they'll treat. Is this the future of health care? Some doctors worry that it's fragmented health care if patients don't have consistent treatment. So here's the question: would you go?
I think this is a great idea. In a world where time is a valuable commodity, its helpful to get the help we need in only a matter of minutes. I'd rather avoid the hassle of going to the doctor when I can easily go to Bartell and get the help I need in only a matter of minutes. If it saves me time and makes life easier, I'm GAME.
This is not unsual to have in other countries to have nurse practitioners provide prescription. 80% of the time with HMO's you end up talking to the nurse anyway and doctor is hardly there for few minutes if at all. I think this is a great step forward in managing health care costs and the best part it saves a lot of time, which = money.

Please, out of respect for us Christians, DON"T AIR "BOOK of DANIEL" This is highly offensive to the Christian Faith. Please consider our feelings for a change, you do when it comes to other faiths such as Muslims, Buddist etc.
I prefer to get treatment from professionals who are on top of all my friends and really care about me and not about advertizing a new experimental drug.
