I'm afraid we helped let the cat out of the bag for all of those eBay professionals who were buying crates full of jewelry confiscated from Oregon crooks and re-selling them at huge profits... Now way too many people know about the Oregon Surplus Warehouse and its multi-million dollar sales of everything from x-ray machines to amphibious motor vehicles. Most surprising to me: every month the Salem institution gets a 55 gallon drum full of weapons confiscated from passengers at the Portland airport. And that's Portland: 14 million passengers a year. Sea-Tac gets twice the number of passengers. What's happened to all their shot puts, lighters, ninja stars and machetes? Also: if you have any questions about Evening Magazine, I'll try to answer (some of) them right here. 3 Comments |
