It is a small world
Within moments of the first bomb blast in London, strong images from camera phones were being beamed around the world. And as the explosions clearly became a series of coordinated attacks, the whole world was sharing the experience together. We were in the Tubes with Londoners. The mystery of the world may have gone the way of the nickel phone call, but is that a bad thing?

I am very concerned about the teenage boy that may be charged for man slaughter when another boy and a friend were throwing bottle rockets at cars passing by. Does'nt that young man have any rights that he was chasing the boy and the boy ran into traffic. Just awhile ago a police officer was injured from someone doing the same thing. I am outraged that this young teenager may be charged for a murder crime. I understand that maybe he did not handle it in the apporpriate matter, however who is to say that the young boys who were throwing the bottle rockets may have caused a car accident or even worse injured another person. If these this young teenager is charged of murder what signal does this send to others? Do we not have a right to protect our property? If these two teenage boys had not chased the young kids who knows what might have happended. It is sad that a young boy died. However, it is his own fault.... DO you not agreee?

I am writing to express my comments on the one about the sign posted on the door of the coffee and sweet shop. I forgot the name-Heaven something. Anyways, I feel that children should always use inside voices when they are in any restaurant or coffee - sweet shop. Their parent should be teaching them manners of what is correct and considerate behavior and what is not. I am all for the owner putting up the sign. Good for him. I thought it was tastefully done. Any problems with that should be the parents problem. I am suprised how many children have not been taught how to be polite just by saying please and thank you. Let alone using inside voices. Parents think this is the job of teachers.
